Can stress from workouts or daily routine cause insomnia?
Hi everyone, I’ve been focusing more on fitness lately and noticed that on some days, especially after intense workouts or stressful days, it becomes harder for me to fall asleep. Even when my body feels tired, my mind stays active and I end up lying awake longer than usual.
I started reading about stress induced insomnia and it seems like stress or high cortisol levels can really affect sleep quality. Since this forum focuses a lot on fitness and healthy routines, I was wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar.
Do you notice sleep problems when you’re under stress or after heavy training days? If so, what helped you relax and sleep better? I’d appreciate any tips or experiences you can share.
